We really enjoyed our visit! We came in for a late breakfast — it was quite busy, so we had to wait a little, but the service was fast and efficient. We were a large group and ended up ordering a bit of everything — haha. I personally loved the waffles! The espresso was well-prepared, though I didn’t quite enjoy the taste — maybe I’m just being picky. Overall, it’s a great spot with huge portions. Definitely worth a visit!
Amazing time and Amazing food! We came on a Friday morning and we were seated pretty quickly. Service was fast!!! From sitting to getting our food..maybe 20 mins. Food was just great quality and great portions. We literally loved it all. I have not one complaint. Orange juice was fresh as hell. Highly recommend!!
We’ve been coming to Tops for several years now when I’m in town for work. It is always delicious and top notch service. Their French Onion soup is amazing. Tons of cheese and onion and a rich flavor. My wife loves the ultimate nachos. Make a reservation because it is usually very busy.
Top’s Diner is my absolutely favorite diner ever! We make a trip from Queens, NY just to eat here. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. The menu has something for everyone, classic diner favorites with some creative twists that really set it apart. The portions are generous, the food comes out hot, and everything tastes freshly made. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between retro charm and modern comfort. Whether you’re coming for brunch, a late-night bite, or just dessert, Top’s delivers every time. Definitely one of the best diners in the area. Can’t wait to come back!
Tops Diner is the best diner that I've been to in N, and l've been to quite a few. They have a modern but retro design, and the recent redesign makes the diner look very stylish, chic, and clean. The staff are attentive, and the drinks are really good, my favorite is the Venus Williams. They're always accommodating and accept any requests I have to change sides, add garlic, sauces, whatever I ask. My favorite meal from here was the short rib meal with garlic mashed potatoes, crispy onions, and garlic spinach, on the older "Specials of the day menu" it was so flavorful! That was the only thing that I ordered as my entree, until it was sadly removed. I am sad that it is gone. For three visits after that was removed from the menu, the chef was able to still fix that meal up for me. But I have been trying other menu options, which are delicious as well, although nothing with replace my love for that short rib meal. I've been coming religiously for the past 3 and a half years, ever since the reopening. We've even introduced family members who have visited from out of state, and they love it too. I'm excited to remain a regular and can't wait for my next visit!
What in the world?! How has it taken me THIS LONG to get to TOPS DINER?! Everything was phenomenal here, everything! There are some great chefs and bakers in that kitchen! Plates we ordered: Crispy calamari Load potatoes Cuban skirt steak with side of rice and beans Catfish and grits with toast Prime rib eye with mashed potatoes and spinach Flan Original cheesecake with fresh strawberries Chai latte Ube iced latte It's rare that I go to restaurants where everything tastes amazing and Tops is one of them for sure. The ambience and modern diner decor really pulls the place together. Highly recommend booking reservations. Parking can be tight and people can be savages so be careful. Depending on what you order, entrees can be pricey but you really GET what you pay for *chef's kiss*. Service was a little slow but it was very busy with nearby school graduations coming in (June). Definitely check out Tops next time you're in the area! It won't disappoint and most definitely deserves the recognition it has received!
I’ve been a walk in and made reservation. Both times met with smile at the door. At the bar, i ordered the crispy chicken sandwich. Crispy, flavorful, and i got to choice type the bun. Dinner with family, fried chicken dinner with corn mash and gravy. Reservation needed for bar plenty parking friendly and helpful staff Dj Thank you Brianna for excellent service.
Very packed place, but it makes sense, the atmosphere and the food are to die for. I went with a party of 6 and all we tried was delicious. I highly recommend the buttermilk biscuits and the avocados toast. Their drip coffee is very good as well.
